Educational Requirements Having a degree isn't necessarily a prerequisite for becoming a recruiter, but it can certainly help. Understanding the distinctions between the two (types) of recruiters makes things clear for me as a reader and as an aspiring recruiter. Even if you've only been in the workforce for a short period of time, chances are you've already crossed paths with one or two recruiters. A day in the life of a recruiter may also include writing job descriptions, meeting with company managers to determine the skills and characteristics they are looking for in a candidate, scheduling interviews, and conducting telephone audits.
A recruitment career is starting to look good, but that doesn't mean it's the right job for everyone.
