You can become a recruiter and succeed without having previous experience or background. Still, just like having no previous industry knowledge, you can become a recruiter and work on your skills as you go. So even that doesn't have to be an obstacle to pursuing this career. What counts most is having the right attitude and mindset to succeed.

Establish contacts with recruiters from agencies and companies, as well as with suppliers, who will be able to share a wealth of knowledge, not to mention that it will be on their radar the next time they look for a recruiter or supplier.
